Seed Prices & Acquisition Assumptions
Understand shop prices, free-cash found seeds, festival access and opportunity-cost overrides before trusting a crop profit ranking.
How to use this page
Most crop seed assumptions use Pierre’s standard price. Rhubarb, Beet, Starfruit and Cactus Seeds use Oasis pricing. Sunflower uses the 125g JojaMart seed price rather than Pierre’s 200g price. Availability depends on shop access, season and sometimes year.
Strawberry Seeds cost 100g at the Spring 13 Egg Festival. A Spring 1 comparison assumes seeds saved from an earlier year; it is not a first-year shopping plan. Garlic, Red Cabbage, Artichoke and Rice Shoots normally require year 2 shop stock.
Carrot, Summer Squash, Broccoli and Powdermelon seeds are found. Ancient Fruit seeds are crafted or saved; Pineapple Seeds and Taro Tubers have barter or drop acquisition. Their 0g default means no cash spent, not that you can acquire arbitrary quantities.
Coffee Bean defaults to the rare 2,500g Traveling Cart offer. A bean saved from a harvest can instead use a 15g normal-sale opportunity-cost override, or 0g if you want cash accounting only. Sweet Gem Berry uses the seasonal 1,000g Rare Seed offer.
Seed-cost overrides apply only to the crop you select. Fertilizer cost is per planted tile and is deducted once over the plan. Sunflower seed returns, wheat hay and crafting ingredient opportunity costs are excluded.
