Crop Quality, Tiller & Artisan Explained
Calculate normal, silver, gold and iridium crop sale scenarios; see first-item quality limits and which professions affect raw crop revenue.
How to use this page
Normal, silver, gold and iridium quality use sale multipliers of 1, 1.25, 1.5 and 2 before truncation. Iridium crops require Deluxe Fertilizer. A fixed quality selection describes your sale scenario; it does not predict the probability of harvesting that quality.
Blueberry guarantees three berries per harvest. At gold quality, one is worth 75g and the other two are normal berries worth 50g each, so the fixed guaranteed harvest value is 175g, not 225g. Expected and random modes also model supported extra yields; those extra items remain normal quality.
Tiller gives eligible raw crops a 10% sale bonus. Agriculturist and Artisan retain the Tiller prerequisite, but Artisan’s 40% artisan-goods bonus does not apply to raw crops. Sweet Gem Berry and Coffee Bean do not receive the Tiller raw-crop bonus.
Switch from fixed quality to expected quality to include Farming level, food and quality fertilizer. Seasonal wild seeds use Foraging level and its professions instead.
